LORVIGNA | Renaissance of Linen Fabrics
——When the Tuscan sunshine weaves into the warp of linen
Among the continuous hills of Tuscany, the Vigna family's vineyards are with linen fields for generations. The morning dew soaks the flax stems and the noon sun shines through the vines. These two plants grow in the same terroir, but few people find their soul resonance-until the birth of Lorenzo Vigna.
We spent three years resurrecting this lost skill:
▸ Plant between vineyards to share the limestone soil of Tuscany
▸ Replace chemical softener with oak barrel-aged Vin Santo
▸ Develop the Vinea Weave™ three-dimensional weaving method based on the method of vine wrapping trench
Nowadays, every LORVIGNA linen item is a "breathable sculpture":
► The suit lining hides the breathable holes like grape leaves
► The buttons are made of the old vine in the family vineyard
► The last ready-to-wear piece of the season will be sewn into the grape seeds of that year
This is not clothing, but wearable Tuscan terroir.
When you stroke the twill on your shirt, you touch the rhythm of the flax stems stretching in the morning mist; when you roll up your cuffs, the exposed stitching track is the golden angle of the vine climbing. We believe that true luxury never needs to be ostentatious, just like the most mellow wine, there are thousands of words in silence.
PATIENTIA ET LINUM
(Patient and flax - a proverb engraved on the stone walls of the family wine cellar)
